Fri., July 17 | 4 - 8 p.m. Reception
While in the US Air Force, stationed in the Mediterranean, Pete Wroblewski found the nature and emotion of mythology. During the last 25 years, he has translated many of these themes into expressive figurative bronze sculptures. Using the lost wax process and revising the wax positive, Pete creates unique, singular cast bronze figures and masks. The movement of the material, like the sea, is both subtle and obvious.

There was a progression in his works from black and white photography to film producer to teaching at University of Minnesota, Creighton, and Iowa Western. His works ranged from nature, to religion and to architecture. He described his works as "the remains of an archaeological process of relational renaissance. "
Stuart Bay passed away in June, 2015. His works had been shown in the old 13th Street Gallery, the Hot Shops, Gallery 72, and Connect Gallery and many others.

Ken Heimbuch's inspiration comes from his observation of the environment around him such as the movement of the wind, rain and insects around a light. But another huge impact on his paintings is music.
Ken works in abstracts, conveying a feeling or the movement of an object. Ken Heimbuch is always concerned with good design, eye movement and color in his paintings.
